River Mountain Lodge Spruce Creek Condo: Ski-In, Walk To Main St

The rental is situated in a very convenient location. Everything was clean and in working order. This is a perfect size for 2 adults and 1-2 kids.

The condo location is close to Main Street and tons of restaurants and shops. It’s a 10 min walk to Peak 9 for beginner skiers. There is a free shuttle stop right out the main lodge doors. The Brown Bus takes you to Peak 9 and the Gondola every 10 mins which is helpful if you are wearing ski boots and carrying your skis. The condo was clean but is a bit dated. The upstairs bedroom is comfortable but does not have sufficient lighting. There is no light in this upstairs bedroom except for two low powered lamps. The top plug on the right side only works and you can use the bottom plug for an extra outlet need such as a phone charger. With all the snow and melting snow we tracked a lot of dirt into the condo but there is no vacuum or broom to clean up any dirt. Felt dirty walking around with our bare feet. The showers are either too hot or too cold. Any slight turn to make it warmer or colder didn’t work. The outside hot tub is below this condo and it was loud at night with other guests using the hot tub after hours. Other then this type of noise the area was quite. The Lodge is close to everything along Main Street and the surrounding Village. If you take the Gondola to Peak 8 you can take the lift on the far left up that has a ski path to the bottom of the street with the Lodge directly across the street for a true ski out experience. Would consider staying at this location but maybe a different condo that was a little more updated. The management company was very helpful and responsive. Pay attention to the instructions in the links that they send you because the instructions are pretty good as far as letting you know how to get your keys, and how to check out. Check out time is at 10:00 am which is a bit early so make arrangements that coordinate with your travel to and from the airport.

Clean and comfortable, convient to everything. Not 5 star but well set for ski vacay . Needs additional chair in Living area, but bedroom perfect. Living room couch is comfortable sleeper.

Absolutely lovely place. Fantastic, central downtown Breck location. Easy walking distance to everything. Wonderful time.

We loved the place having a covered garage that is maintained in winter is a plus. It's looked right in town and not far from things. It was very clean. The main bedroom is up some stairs and pull out couch in the living area, it was fine for our family of 3. Also two bathrooms which was good, you didn't have to go up the stairs just to use it. Property management was great any questions I asked they answered promptly. Instructions were easy to follow for check in and check out.

Our stay was peaceful & wonderful. Great accommodations that were clean, comfortable & relaxing. Highly recommended!!

Overall this is a good unit, with a perfect location. The unit is well equipped, with everything you need for your stay. I especially appreciated that there was already cooking oil and salt, pepper, and a couple of other spices provided. The knives were dull, but there was a sharpener available in the knife block. I've stayed in a couple different units in this complex and my main complaint is there is zero sound proofing between units. And you inevitably end up near someone loud. The front door could also use something to make it soft close, because everyone lets it slam on their way out and it's very loud. We were across the hall from a group that seemed to open and close their front door endlessly. The large gap under the door doesn't help either. Check is also at 10AM which, is too early in my opinion. Especially when check in isn't until 4PM.

The condo was in a great location, easy access to the gondola and to Main Street, with a bus stop right at the front door and skiing down right across the street. The condo itself has very cheap furniture, but it fit my needs, as I didn't spend a lot of time there, I skied!
