This place is a great find! River Mountain Lodge Colorado Trail Condo offers the convenience and comforts of a condominium (with hotel amenities) in the heart of historic downtown Breckenridge. Just ski down, walk across the street and you’re home! Plus, you’re just one block from Main Street Breckenridge and a short shuttle ride to the gondola or the Peak 9 base. River Mountain Lodge Colorado Trail Condo is a comfortable 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom deluxe condo with room for up to four guests.  All the comforts of home are here, including a full kitchen with updated appliances and granite counters, a full bathroom, and a flat-screen TV. The dining table seats four, and there’s room for three at the counter for a quick breakfast or après-ski snack.

You’ll also enjoy the in-unit washer/dryer, complimentary Wi-Fi, underground parking (one car) with elevator access, a fitness center, and an outdoor heated pool and hot tubs. Plus, every Summit Mountain Rentals property comes stocked with plenty of linens, towels and hotel-like toiletries, and is professionally cleaned and inspected before each arrival. Our helpful staff is also available 24 hours a day to ensure you have everything you need to make your stay with us an unforgettable experience.

The unit was lovely inside and had everything we needed. Great location, we could walk to everything on main street. Check in went smoothly. We arrived late in the evening and had been given clear instructions on where and how to pick up our keys. The only issue to be aware of is that there is no A/C. This wasn't a huge problem during our stay as it was very cool in Breckenridge the week we were there. The issue was that you had to keep the windows open to cool down the condo and the condo is located on a courtyard with a hot tub (sadly out of order) and a fire pit. We were rather uncomfortable leaving the windows open over night and while we were gone all day hiking, as anyone could have easily entered through the windows/screens. There really is no way to solve this, so just be aware. Also, the people above our unit were very loud. Woke us up at all hours. Overall, the place was very nice, clean and had a great location, just a few things took away from giving a 10/10.

this was the perfect size for us (3). I did not explore the outside areas but was told the hot-tubs, sauna/steamroom were awesome by my daughter. Location was nice as you could hop on the shuttle right outside the door to get to the mountain (quickly) and then ski down 4 O'clock to get home (take off skis and walk across the road). The only thing I didn't like was that I had to pick up and drop off keys at a different location but it was VERY close so not a huge deal. The unit was nice with a comfy king bed. Sofa sleeper had lots of blankets and extra bedding. The unit stayed pretty warm even though we turned heat down. We could have opened windows but didn't need to go that far. They also have a fan and humidifier. Downstairs there is coffee, hot cocoa with some good mix ins (plus tea in the unit and downstairs).

If you are skiing, this is the best location for the price. You can ski back directly across the street from the entrance at the end of the day, and there is a shuttle pick-up directly outside the entrance to start your day. Most of the restaurants and shops are all within walking distance, and there is a ski rental directly behind the condos. The space was perfect for 2 people, but it might be a little cramped with 3 adults. The staff was very professional and friendly. I would absolutely stay again if I went skiing.

First, the good: The location was outstanding - 1/2 block from Main St. and Ski Hill Rd., the heart of town. This one-bedroom unit has a king-size bed (a prerequisite for us) in the bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room. The unit also has a wood-burning fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a bathtub/shower. The unit backs onto, and is on the same level as, a common area deck with an outdoor gas fireplace, hot tub, swimming pool, and propane barbecue grills. We reserved the unit for two weeks. When we arrived, all four of the unit's windows and its sliding glass door had been left unlocked. We soon noted that the sliding glass door's lock and the light above the oven/range were not functional. A few days after check-in we reported both issues in-person to the property management company - Summit Mountain Rentals. At check-out, neither issue had been addressed. The bed's memory foam mattress, like some lower-priced models, retains body heat, making sleep uncomfortably hot even with one light blanket, the heat off, the windows open at night, and the outdoor temperature in the 40s. The only other issue was the toilet. Having travelled much of the world, I have never before encountered one so low to the floor. The top of the toilet seat was approximately 13" from the floor. It literally appeared to have been designed for little people. If noise is an issue, you might want to look for a unit in a part of the building that doesn't back onto the deck, which is located between the property's two buildings. To sum up, great location but the unit and the property management company have some issues.

This was a wonderful condo in Breck with a great proximity to Main Street. Very walkable to stores and restaurants. The condo itself is very nice and has everything we needed. It got a little warm at night even with windows open, but we found a box fan in the closet and that helped a lot. Overall a really great condo and we’d happily stay there again.

Stayed in the slow season mid-September with my infant son. Loved loved the 24hr front desk, even though they are condos with different managers at River Mountain Lodge, the front desk is for all. Laundry was great and right in the bedroom. There was a thick mattress topper on the bed which we removed for the duration of our stay, the mattress underneath was perfect. Didn't get a chance to use the pool. The condos are RIGHT on the river walk which was super convenient and close to everything, as well as beautiful. Besides a few stains on the carpet the place was clean. Some parking spaces were a little on the small side but others were larger for trucks etc. Summit mountain Rentals staff were very helpful and overall really enjoyed ourselves.

I loved the layout. For me (others may like it) the 3-inch foam top of the mattress was awful. I slept elsewhere in the rental. The WiFi was not at all satisfactory; wouldn't work consistently. It seemed overloaded most of the time. I would recommend for location and layout but let others know what bothered me.
