Winter in the Colorado high country means amazing snowfall, but it also mean chilly temperatures! Breckenridge is located 9,600 feet about sea level, which means: Be ready for anything! For example:
- The sun is VERY intense while it’s out! Sunscreen isn’t an option — it’s essential.
- Once the sun disappears behind The Tenmile Range, the temperature plummets.
