Looking for some great shopping spots in Breckenridge to splurge on? Well, we’ve got you covered as far as clothing and accessories go! After all you’re on Vacation, right? Below is a list of a couple of my favorite spots not to be missed when shopping in Summit County. First stop; visit Valleygirl Boutique for fun, affordable fashion for women of all ages. Valleygirl features hundreds of cute tops, dresses, jeans and accessories, where I always find something I like.
In March of 2007, Valleygirl Boutique opened its first store in Avon, Colorado and has since expanded to downtown Breckenridge and Aspen. Mixing West Coast fashion with mountain style, Valleygirl has become a local favorite and a must-stop-shop for tourists. Part of their mission statement is to strive to be a friendly boutique with a very warm and inviting atmosphere while offering excellent customer service, and I agree, as the sales girls always talk me into getting something. Another shop I love in Breckenridge is Big City Blues. It’s located just across the street and down from Valleygirl at 226 S. Main Street. As a favorite of mine, Big City Blues is a little more high-end, and actually feels like a shop you would find in a big city! They have a great selection of high-end jeans, and top designers like Michael Starrs, J Brand, Joe’s Jeans, 7 for All Man Kind and many more! They also have a great sale room tucked in the back, which I always check when I’m looking for a good deal! When I need shoes to go with that new outfit I just bought, then I go to the best shoe store in all of Summit County. They have the trendiest shoes and boots at the Shoe Inn Boutique, in Frisco. The Shoe Inn Boutique is a new concept shoe store providing Summit County residents and visitors top-of-the-line women’s shoes and accessories. The stylish boutique’s selection ranges from the basics, including comfortable flats, cute sandals, exclusive outdoor footwear, as well as awesome and interesting boots and heels to put the finishing touches on that great outfit you just purchased in Breckenridge. Although I’ve only listed my top 3 places to shop in Summit County, the area actually abounds in great and affordable clothing, shoes, and accessories. If you’re looking for mom and pop interesting places, you have to check out the main streets of all the individual towns. If you’re looking for the tried and true, we’ve got the Silverthorne outlets to cover you. If you need specific advice, well, then let me know! But most of all, just enjoy!
