The Best Places to Eat in Breckenridge and Frisco!

Let’s face it: Breckenridge and Frisco have lots of great places to eat. Sometimes it’s hard to choose. If you’re having trouble deciding, here are my three top choices. You can never go wrong with them, trust me!

Breckenridge:

  • The Hearthstone (dinner) — If you’re looking for a nice evening out, I highly recommend The Hearthstone. It is a bit upscale (i.e., pricy) but they have amazing food. They take typical dishes and give them a unique twist. For example, their “Duck Duck Cous Cous” features pan-seared duck breast, seared foie gras and an amazing pearl cous cous. They also have a “Blackberry Elk” that is a must-try!
  • Downstairs at Eric’s (lunch/dinner) — For a more casual night out (or lunch) in Breckenridge, I recommend this locals’ favorite. They have a large menu with all sorts of great apps, sandwiches, and entrees. Their spinach and artichoke dip is simply so satisfying! I have always had good experiences there. And with 29 TVs, 25 arcade games and 30 beers on tap, it’s a great “hang” for everyone: you, a date/mate, and even the kids!

Frisco:

  • Butterhorn Bakery and Cafe (breakfast/lunch) — Their breakfasts are insanely good! Their twist on eggs benedict, the “Eggs Butterhorn,” gives them (in my humble opinion) the best benedict around! Instead of traditional hollandaise sauce, they use a roasted red pepper sauce and sliced avocados. Also, if you like espresso, go all out and try their espresso milkshake!

Bon appétit, everyone!
