This 4-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom premium home is beautifully decorated in a sophisticated mountain style, with vaulted ceilings above a stone gas fireplace and a comfortably furnished living room. It’s located in a quiet residential area of Breckenridge, with easy access to town and the slopes via the free shuttle stop less the two blocks away. Outside, there’s a deck and patio with a gas grill and your own hot tub. And with two master suites, it’s a great home for two families to share.

The main level features a very open, modern layout. There’s plenty of seating in the living area to enjoy the large flat-screen TV and gas fireplace. The fully equipped kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and all the gear you’ll need to make big mountain meals for your group. The cozy dining area has a large pine table with seating for eight people, and there’s room for three more at the breakfast bar.

The lower family room has another large flat-screen TV with a home theater system, a foosball table, and another fully equipped kitchen. Other amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, two washers/dryers and a garage with additional driveway parking (4 vehicles total). And you can rest easy knowing every Summit Mountain Rentals property is professionally cleaned and inspected before each arrival.   • Queen master suite: queen bed, private bathroom with tub/shower.

MAIN LEVEL:

  • Bunk suite: captain’s bunk (twin over full), private bathroom with tub/shower.
  • Bathroom: 1/2 guest bath.

LOWER LEVEL:

  • Bedroom 4: queen bed.
  • Living area: sleeper sofa.
  • Bathroom: tub/shower.

The rental experience was great. Although, we aren't quite sure that the housekeeping crew changed the sheets on all of the beds. We found a handwarmer in between the sheets and bird seed strewn about in two beds and one random bathroom corner. The location is fantastic and is close to the ski slopes, if that is what you are looking for. I do feel that the price is quite steep, in my conservative estimate, especially depending on the time of year that you plan to visit.

Great vacation home. Loved that we had room to spread out. Having a second kitchen gave us plenty of fridge storage. Great trails for hiking and biking right out the door. Third time to rent from Summit Mountain Rentals and they always do a great job and respond immediately to any questions or issues.

Absolutely loved this house! We went with a group of 4 couples for 4 days and the location was amazing along with the setup of the home. The kitchen and living area were large enough for us to sit by the fireplace and play cards at the table at night. The hot tub was also a great addition to the home along with a fully furnished basement. We loved everything about this home and will definitely want to go back next year!

The overall experience was great! My only negative comment would be there was a lot of miscommunication with check in! I texted 48 hrs in advance to let them know our eta and request and early check in! Then call the morning of check in 3 times and was told each time that they didn’t know anything but guaranteed a check in by 4. (Which in our case was 6 hrs later see that we arrived at 10 am). We called again around 1 to receive that our unite still had not been cleaned! We finally went into the office around 2, which is what it took cause we got a call 20 mins later that we could check in! All I would say is make the same day checkout/checkin units too priority to clean allowing early checkin! I understand you have a lot of properties and can’t guarantee a certain time check in but better communication between the customer and when they could check in would be appreciated Overall the house was perfect, and our family had an absolute wonderful time!!! Thank you

This house was beautiful, with a working hot tub, many bathrooms, big rooms, nice views. It was a pretty easy bus trip to Breck (a 4 min walk to the shuttle then ~20 min from there). The management company was amazing - 24/7, easy to contact, extremely nice (gave us many recommendations), very helpful, etc.

This was a nice place to stay. The home could use some new furniture in the living room (no support in the couch or loveseat). The kitchen rug and carpet pad could use a good shake outside. The Summit Mountain Rentals staff was great! Clear instructions for checking in and out. Called in a chirping smoke detector at about 4:30 one afternoon and they sent someone to replace it right away.

This home is large and has plenty of room. Having a bathroom for each bedroom was ideal. We cooked in the kitchen several times and were pleased with the large selection of kitchenware! This home was super clean and cozy. There is a hot tub that which we didn't use. It snowed the whole week we were there. Such a bonus to have a snow plow clear the driveway as well as the sidewalks each day.

We enjoyed the home. All the instructions were provided on how to run the fireplaces and internet connection. It was close enough to the lifts grocery stores and down town and far enough out of town you could enjoy the scenery

Water leak in basement was a problem. Even after fixing the leak, soaked carpet, etc. created mold. SMR provided alternate accommodations for couple and their two children who were staying on that level to resolve situation. I recognize problems can arise and SMR handled it professionally and to our satisfaction.

We enjoyed the house, it was bigger than the pictures showed. The house was very clean and filled with everything we needed, soap towels and even kitchen spices. Overall, we loved our stay at Rachel Lane. We were a group of 11 adults in our 20's & 30's and found the house to be spacious, clean, comfortable, and conveniently located to the shuttle bus (less than 5 minute walk). The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to enjoy a group dinner at the large dining room table. The hot tub was the perfect was to end a long day of skiing. The only complaint we had is that the house does not sleep 11 people, as listed. The downstairs pull out couch can only comfortably sleep one person.

The house was gorgeous, the furniture was adorable and made us feel quite 'rustic' while still being in a modern home, and having two well-stocked kitchens was great. The only thing I will say is that in the description, it reads "2 kings, 2 queens, 1 bunk, and 1 other" for bed space. This was not accurate. There was only 1 king, 2 queens, 1 bunk (which had a double bed beneath, and a twin on top), and a pullout/futon. There was also a double cot available. It was a little disappointing to have made plans for 2 king and 2 queen beds and having to make adjustments (which made some of our party unhappy), but overall didn't ruin our stay. The shuttle stop is about a five minute walk away, which was great! It's on the purple line. Summit Rentals provides a great welcome packet with maps of the shuttle routes, and it's pretty easy to figure out. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

We traveled to Breckenridge with four other couples. The house was roomy, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked with a great variety of utensils, pots/pans, serving bowls/platters, and small kitchen electronics. The downstairs is its own little apartment and was the perfect space for one of the couples who brought their teenage daughter. The master bed/bath was luxurious and very comfortable. We will be booking this property again!!!

We had a very good rental experience in every respect. Great location and mountain views. The only negative feedback that we would leave is that the TV in the main gathering area (1st floor) is extremely unsuitable for such a nice unit. TVs in all other areas are great but the one that is watched the most by everyone is poor. Can't even get all the same channels that the other ones have. Strange?

Unit was advertised as sleeping 12. There were 11 of us and I brought a blow up bed. We could not acsess the sleeper couch so we had to have our 6'4 grandson sleep on the floor on the blow up bed. There were 6 adults, 2 teenagers and 3 children under 12. Otherwise, it was fine.

On our first night in Rachel Lane, a flood occurred in the basement and we had to move to a different property. Summit Mountain management was VERY helpful in making the change, but we really would have preferred the Rachel Lane home

Everything you can imagine is included with this home. The kitchen is fully equipped for making meals for multiple families and if you run out of space there is a second kitchen downstairs! The master bedroom is gorgeous! The only issue is hot water. I am not sure if it is an issue of a small hot water heater or something else, but with any more than 6 people in the house you will have to cycle showers. Even so, this is a property that is high on our list. Without a doubt we would stay there again.

Perfect location, short walk to the bus stop to get into town and to the gondola. The inside was beautiful and we weren't lacking for anything, it felt just like being at home, but with a hot tub! I don't think we could have found a better place and would definitely go back!

David, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on the home you rented from Summit Mountain Rentals. I hope I didn’t offend anyone with my token—point taken that a fruit basket would have been more apropos. I have made sure that our owner relations manager (and maintenance) is aware of the issues that you experienced. I actually took the time to tour the home after placing the topper on the bed and understand your frustrations—I am sorry that I did not catch that the dresser handles were loose (that I could have addressed on site!). The ladies had all the paperwork in the night arrival box and were very patient with my returning the signed papers after the second day. Our second day after skiing was spent in the Emergency room so the papers were late. Nice condo. which accomodated our 10 very well. Bus route worked well. Don't understand why the 46" LCD TV is in the basement while the smaller LCD is in the living room? May be a story behind that question.
