Step inside this 2-bedroom, 3-bathroom home and you’ll immediately feel the care — and quality of materials and design — put into Plum Cottage. It’s fabulous for groups of up to seven guests! A glass tiled fireplace, a gorgeous leather couch, comfy overstuffed chairs and wall-mounted flat-screen TV welcome you to the living area. Vaulted ceilings and expansive windows provide a light, airy, spacious feel. The home is furnished with several amazing and unique vintage pieces, but styled in an ultra-cool, city chic manor.
The kitchen is simply stunning. Lavish quartz counter tops, rustic beech custom cabinets, hardwood floors and restaurant-quality stainless steel appliances (including a gorgeous gas range) will satisfy even the most discriminating chef. The vintage, beautifully finished dining table seats six.
Downstairs, the master suite offers a king bed, day bed with a twin trundle, and a stylish, luxurious in-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has two extra-long twin beds and its own private bathroom with tub/shower. For more guests, there’s a den upstairs with a sleeper sofa, as well as a third full bathroom. and a washer and dryer.
There’s also a washer/dryer complementary Wi-Fi throughout the home. And as with all SMR properties, all linens and basic toiletries are supplied, and each property is professionally cleaned and inspected before each arrival. We are still here! Reservation was for 8 weeks. We love the Plum cottage and the staff at SMR is wonderful. Very responsive and helpful.. Our TV reception problems were solved by staff in hours. My only semi dissatisfaction is with the status of the dead tree in front ( dead last year too ) and the fact that yard maintenance is minimal. The interior is very nice and suits us to a "T". We love Breckenridge!

Our Spring Break trip to Breckenridge centered around the Plum Cottage. Our family of 4 fit perfectly in this home and had every amenity we needed including our kids favorite, heated floors. Two short blocks from Main St. was a dream - close to restaurants and shopping. Once we parked our car, we never needed it until we left. Excellently situated cottage-style home... blocks from downtown and close to several restaurants worth visiting for dinner. The kitchen is stocked with anything and everything you would need. The only negative feedback I can provide is that the mattresses are WAYYYYYY beyond their useful lives... the main room has noticeable divots from bodies laying on it, and we slept horribly. I know you don't always go on vacation to sleep, but it is nice to get some decent sleep when you are in bed. Just a recommendation from a frequent traveler - please invest in some new mattresses!

Charming home, two blocks from town on the Blue Route to the gondola. The architect was a wizard utilizing every square inch in the design. Well outfitted and nice retreat after day of skiing. You are paying for location with this rental, and it is worth it! We were able to walk anywhere we needed, and it made the vacation a different experience. I have stayed in Breck many times over my life, but never stayed near Main Street. I felt like we were apart of the downtown life, and it was so enjoyable. The first night we walked around, and saw three foxes! As for the house, it is perfect for a small family to get lots of time together. The only place to be is the living room/kitchen which was exactly what we wanted! However, there were several things that did not work correctly or went wrong. The stove does not turn on unless you light a match and hold it near the burner while turning on the gas. They had almost everything in the kitchen, except a pizza cutter. One night our electricity went out around 1am. We called the number and we were able to get it fixed within an hour.

Plum Cottage is a great little house, steps from the heart of Breckenridge shops and restaurants. Walking distance to the Gondola also (in summertime at least. In winter I don't know that I would want to clump the several blocks in my ski boots with my skies over the shoulder,though). The house is very well appointed and has beautiful fixtures and finishes. Both bedrooms are downstairs in the basement, which isn't ideal, but also was fine since they still have nice windows that open up to window wells. Our family of 5 fit very well in the house. Mom and dad slept in one bedroom, the 2 boys slept in the other bedroom, and our daughter slept on the sofa bed in the den off of the living room. French Street is not a busy street by any means, but it does get some traffic/noise. So if you are looking for a super quiet and private location, this may not be the best house for you. But obviously the further you are from town, the less convenient if you want to be able to walk to and from the restaurants and shops. Bike and walking trails of Breckenridge are awesome and they are a 0.2 mile walk from the house.

We were so pleased with our choice of homes to stay in while in Breckenridge. The house is just as cute on the inside as the outside! The walk into town is only a couple blocks and the bus stop was right outside the door! The only draw back is the hot water doesn't last long. No long hot baths or showers. The maintenance team came, however, the boiler only holds 13 gallons of water. For a family of 5 (including a toddler who takes baths) the hot water goes quickly. Despite the hot water situation, the stay was perfect!

This charming and completely updated historic home is a short two-block walk from Main Street; super convenient to dozens of dining options, shopping and some activities. It's located on a fairly busy street, so morning coffee on the front porch isn't serene, but back inside you're totally unaware of passing cars, as it's very quiet. The home is small, not sure I'd want to share with 7 other people, but certainly 6 is doable. One small television in the living room encourages togetherness and/or outside activities :) The beds, linens, furniture, etc. are all in excellent condition and comfortable. The kitchen is up to date with just the basics, but enough for as much as we wanted to cook on vacation (remember, soooo many good restaurants are w/in walking distance)! We are very glad we found this gem of a home. It was perfect for our summer vacation.

Spent a long weekend here with some friends from out of state. For those that prefer being downtown to on the mountain, this is a great location. The bus stop is immediately across the street and takes about 10 minutes to get to the Beaver Run lift on Peak 9, and you're only 2 blocks from the nearest grocery store. You could comfortably stay here with 6 people, assuming they are couples, but I would not recommend it for more than 5 people if you all want your own bed. I was here with 3 other big guys and it was perfect.

We love spending a few days in Breck during the summer. Plum cottage was the ultimate experience for us, and it's pretty much ruined every other property for us. The location is unbeatable as just two blocks gets you to Main St. It's the perfect way to feel like a local! The layout is unbelievable and very efficient on space. Well stocked and high-end kitchen makes it easy and fun to cook a meal in for a night. I could go on for pages about the craftsmanship, upgrades, and little touches in this place. It's unbelievable.

Plum Cottage is so well appointed, with all you need for a stay in the heart of Breckenridge. It is adorable and clean. The location means you can walk to pretty much anywhere in town; we walked to city market, shopping on main street and dinner every night.

Great house. Loved the location next - just across the street from the bus stop and just a short walk to Main Street. There was plenty of room for our family of 4. The house is well maintained. We would stay there again!

Love this adorable house! We travel to Colorado for hiking. This is the second time we have stayed in this particular home. It's beautiful! I so wish it had a little comfier sofa upstairs in the living room, but I love the color!

We spent a peaceful and relaxing 3 days at Plum cottage and everything was perfect. The beds were soft, the bathrooms were well appointed, the kitchen had everything you could ask for and the walk to Main Street took 3 minutes. We can't wait to return in the winter.

This was an awesome home. The property was located very close to all the shops & restaurants. We walked everywhere. The setup of this home is very well planned out. The main bedrooms are downstairs and very spacious! This house is very clean and has all the updated features! For sure the best rental we have rented from SMR. We have rented from SMR before & they are for sure on top of their rentals. We will for sure continue to rent from SMR. The Plum Cottage is an ideal unit for a vacation in Breck. The Freerise bus picks up in front of the house and drops off at the mountain. The updated property is comfortable throughout and it felt like a true home away from home.

Check in was super easy and great staff! As far as furnishings, incredible, I don't think the cottage was missing a thing, better than we expected! The location is SO convenient to main street, quick walk to everything. It felt like we walked in to a brand new home, spotless and even smelled new. We will visit Plum Cottage again, very impressed. The pictures on line looked great but you never know. We drove up to the cottage we were impressed with the exterior and when we opened the front door, blown away! Clean, well furnished/decorated, awesome layout, great bedrooms and bathrooms, we wanted to stay permanently! Awesome place and well taken care of, a BIG thumbs up! Thank you! Our 18 and 21 year old loved it as well!

The Plum cottage is absolutely perfect in every way! Great location to walk to town, practically next door to Twist a great restaurant. Easy to get to the lifts to ski. The cottage is cozy, incredibly well stocked kitchen, beautiful and homey decor!! The beds are very comfortable. I never wanted to leave and can not wait to go back to stay in Plum Cottage.

This cottage was even better than we expected! Beautifully designed spaces using top of the line materials and fixtures, and a very comfortable open yet cozy layout. Plum Cottage was great. Having the "Free Ride" shuttle stop right outside the house was a big plus. We would catch it each morning and take it right to the Beaver Run lift - only had to walk about 30 yards. The house is only a couple of blocks from Main street so it was easy to walk to all of the restaurants and shops in the evening, too. We never even had to pull the car out of the driveway. The furnishings, appliances, fixtures, etc. were all new and high quality. The home theater system and flat screen TV was a hit for movies at night, too. We would definitely stay here again.
