This 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo is clean and comfortable, and it has everything a group of up to seven needs for a great stay in the mountains. The fully equipped kitchen overlooks the living space with new counters and stainless-steel appliances. Whip up a home-cooked meal one night, then check out Breck’s vibrant restaurant scene the next night! The living area has comfy seating on the leather furniture and a flat-screen TV for catching the game or the morning snow report.

Other amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, central laundry facilities, shared hot tubs and a private ski locker. And like every Summit Mountain Rentals property, we supply all linens, basic toiletries, and the home is professionally cleaned and inspected before every arrival. This condo is in a good location close to Peak 8 with the bus stop very close to walk to. If you're in the condition to take a longer walk, you can access 4 o'clock run to Snowflake lift to get on the mountain (approximately 3-4 block walk on the street. You can then end your day by skiing back via 4 o'clock (remember the 3-4 block walk back). Our only disappointments were the limited hot tub hours (open 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm) and the incredibly uncomfortable queen bed in bedroom 1. The mattress is extremely firm. The guests staying in that room had 4 nights of no sleep. This is also advertised to accommodate 7 guests. Careful with this unless you have small kids that will sleep anywhere.

The booking process was easy, check-in was slightly complicated by no instructions being provided, but a quick call to the agent had them on site in 10 mins. This is an older property that is very clean and well presented, with a reasonable living area and kitchen. There was no space for food storage which was surprising. The kitchen window needs a blind as it is on the ground floor in full view of the car park. The bedrooms were a good size and comfortable. The bathroom layout is odd, with a small shower sharing a room with the only toilet, and 2 separate sinks in alcoves outside the shower/toilet room. With teenagers/young adults taking long showers the lack of a second toilet is a problem. The TV is good but the channels/satellite system is a mystery to visitors from overseas, and there was no instruction card which would be very helpful. Noise can be an issue in this older complex. We had a young family above us and the normal noises made by young children thundering about was quite intrusive, particularly early in the morning. There was no ski storage area which meant skis/clothing/etc had to be stored on mats inside the front door, in the living area and down the hall. No big deal but it meant having to empty water out of the mats daily. There was access to a shared hot tub(s) close by onsite, but we avoided them in these covid times. It is in a good location to access the 4 o'clock run and the free shuttle, but a long way from town/shops etc making a car mandatory really. Overall we had a great time in Breck, and this was good quality older accommodation.

Had a good time, very close to the bus stop and good parking. The only issues were the fridge was leaking, the heating settings weren't very accurate and the TVs cable channels had a color problem.

Gold Camp 2 is in the perfect location. Just a few steps to the shuttle stop... 1 stop from Peak 7 and 2 stops from Peak 8. No parking fees, perfect! Only minutes from Main Street, also. The condo was well stocked with cooking supplies, towels, linens, etc and great condition.

The location was great. Close to the slopes and a quick ride on the free shuttle. Everything close by. Friendly neighbors. Property well taken care of. Pretty spacious. Pretty clean, but not perfect...floors were dirty and touch points (after wiping the place down with Clorox wipes). Shower had good pressure. Large hot water heater...never ran out after 4 long showers. Need extra blankets...only had two thin ones. Kitchen fully stocked with kitchen items.
