Village Penthouse at Wetterhorn Condo is a spacious, sunny 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom deluxe condo that’s perfect for families and groups up to eight people. The views of the Town of Breckenridge and the surrounding mountains are simply awesome! Settle into the cozy living area after a day on the slopes and exchange stories about your favorite runs of the day. Or curl up by the fireplace and watch the snow fall on the mountains through the huge picture windows. Of course, there’s also a flat-screen TV to catch a movie or the early morning snow report.

There’s a fully equipped kitchen and a dining table that seats four, as well as room for two more at the counter. Other amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, shuttle service, heated underground parking for one vehicle, access to the Village Childcare Center in the winter, a sports shop with equipment rental and storage, and a concierge/activities desk. And every Summit Mountain Rentals property comes stocked with plenty of linens, towels and hotel-like toiletries, and is professionally cleaned and inspected before each arrival. Our helpful staff is also available 24 hours a day to ensure you have everything you need to make your stay with us an unforgettable experience.

MAIN LEVEL:

  • Master bedroom: king bed, private bathroom with tub/shower, flat-screen TV, private door to patio with views of downtown and the mountains. (sleeps 2)
  • Bedroom 2: 2 queen beds, flat-screen TV, access to balcony with incredible views. (sleeps 4)
  • Living area: queen sleeper sofa. (sleeps 2)
  • Bathroom: tub/shower.

SPECIAL UNIT NOTES - PLEASE READ:

  • No Pets/Smoking.
  • A $500 refundable damage deposit will be charged to credit card at check in.
  • Renters must be a minimum of 25 years old.
  • Parking: 1 garage space total.Parking at the Village at Breckenridge is limited and not guaranteed for all guests. This ski in ski out property is walking distance to the slopes and to town and is a great choice if you want to be green and leave your car at home. If you do not require parking during your stay, SMR will refund you $30 per night if you let us know one week before your arrival.

We enjoyed our stay however the unit could use some updating. Kitchen was decently stocked however the utensils, glasses, and bowls were dirty and had to be washed before use. The only pot large enough to make a soup was a metal stock pot that burned the bottom of anything we prepared. The cost to have a decent set of pots would be minimal and would be useful. There were no storage containers with lids so left overs were impossible to store. Only 1 side of the toaster worked. The tvs are not up to date so we couldn’t even stream our own Netflix or other apps. No soundbar and the dvd player didn’t work. Only music player plays cassette tapes which of course we did not have any. Luckily we brought our own portable speaker so we did have tunes. If they had a soundbar for the tv it would have been able to be used for tv and music. Check in was confusing. It wasn’t clear that we didn’t have to go to the office to pick up the card for door and garage so we wasted about an hour trying to figure out how to get in the unit. That being said the location was great. Easy walk to the slopes and to town. FYI the hot tub is in an adjacent building so you have to walk outside or thru the garage to get there. No towels were available when we got to the hot tub. Maybe having 4 robes in the until would be nice so you don’t have to walk in the cold with wet suits. Also a list of recommended restaurants etc... would be a nice touch as well.

Great location, very nice pool and jacuzzi, but Unit is so outdated. You feel like back 1980... Need full remodeling and much more. I will not recommend to nobody who understand living quality.

This top floor unit overlooking the Blue River as is enters downtown Breckenridge is a great location! Easy walking access to shopping and dining in the heart of it all. The 2 bedrooms are set up as a lock-off with the master (1 king bed/bath) and 2 queens/bath in the 2nd bedroom. The full kitchen was well appointed with all the dishes we needed. The only negatives are that the master bedroom mattresses and furnishings were dated and need to be replaced. It’s time for a new shower curtain in the master bedroom as it is stained and mildewed. Otherwise the unit was clean and very enjoyable.

Great location in the Village, very clean, and great facilities within the complex, (pool, laundry, fitness). Kitchen had everything we needed, beds were very comfortable. Elevator was down two days in a row for about 45-1 hour which was not great since the condo is on the 7th floor and one family member cannot walk the stairs. Showers need to be updated and better water pressure. Overall the experience was good and affordable.

Really liked the place a lot. A 2 minute walk to the slopes and nightlife. Only downside is that the electronic keys are pretty flaky, so I got locked out once, and I had to wait a good half hour before they could drive over replacement keys.

We had a wonderful ski trip at the Wetterhorn. It is a short, 5 minute walk to the lift and 5 minute walk to the best Vietnamese food in Breckenridge! Everything from the rental to the rental company made everything awesome! 100% would stay here again, I could not think of anything to make it better. The apartment is a little dates, but everything works and is clean.

What a terrific property, perfect for a relaxing getaway in beautiful Breckenridge. The condominium provided everything we needed and was comfortable and very quiet. The location in the center of town was perfect! We walked to shopping, restaurants and hikes. It could not have been more ideal!

We loved Breckenridge. This place had an amazing view and it was comfortable. However, it could use a lot of updating - from the flooring to the furniture. We barely used the kitchen, but it was well equipped for any meal. It would be amazing to see the view while sitting on the couch, however, the floor plan does not allow this is happen. Otherwise, great view!

The location is perfect for walking into town. Close to the ski resort and all the town has to offer. The condo was comfortable and well appointed. We appreciate the extra cleaning measures taken in the condo and common areas.

The views were outstanding and location can't be beat. Furnishings inside are nice (outdoor "furniture" is two cheap chairs and no table). It's a little outdated but functional and very comfortable. Washer and Dryer shared in hallway but no working change machine on the property. Garage parking next to the elevator a big plus. As long as you aren't looking for a "luxury" condo and just want a central location with comfortable furnishing, this place will fit the bill.

My family had a great vacation in this unit. The location was fantastic. Very close to main street. We did carryout everynight and the kitchen area had more than enough dishes, glasses, silverwear, etc for the entire family. It was wonderful falling asleep at night to the river right below, and the views from the patio were fantastic. Unit was very well stocked with towels and linens and also had internet with enough bandwidth for the entire family. We will look for this unit on our next trip to Breckenridge.

This was our third stay in this penthouse condo. It was as clean and comfortable as usual. Except for one blind, everything was in working order. It was nice to have new humidifiers for the bedrooms. You can't beat the location and the views of the heart of Breckenridge. It was an easy check in and check out process. We hope to be back soon to our home away from home.

This condo is directly behind the Quicksilver lift, we were out the door and in the lift line in minutes. After a long day on the mountain, its location was ideally situated among Breck's best restaurants and bars. We enjoyed the pool/hot tubs (though note you have to go into the underground parking garage and walk across to another building to access them). Overall, the unit was in great condition and we definitely would stay here again for our next trip to Breckenridge.

Company is brutal to deal with. Impossible to check in with. Since we couldn’t check in on time, we asked where we could park the car, they said it’s not their job to park cars. We asked where we could rent ski equipment, they said they don’t take care of ski rentals and they never rent skis so they don’t know where to go, but we can google where to rent and there are places all over... real nice. Check in at 4p and check out at 10a is a complete scam. Rent a place for a week and nobody comes to clean the place then they fine you when you leave if the place isn’t cleaned to their standards. No staff on site, but the staff at main check in office was so rude, lazy and miserable that I’m glad that was the only staff we had to deal with. Worst customer service I’ve ever seen, not sure why you would hire people to work that don’t want to be there. F!

We rented this unit with our elderly parents / aunt and uncle in mind. It was one of the few in Breckenridge with an elevator! Comfortable beds, nice kitchen and bath with wall to wall views and the river running right past the complex. Perfect!

This condo was in the perfect location. Close to town. You can hear the river below your window. The condo had everything you need to make your stay great. Loved the elevator! We haves stayed in Breck several summers and this was our favorite condo. Thank you for sharing it with us.
