Imagine: Walk across the street to hop on the Gondola and at the end of your ski day, ski right to the complex, store your skis and head to your condo! No matter what season, you’ll have incredible access to hiking, mountain biking and snowshoeing trails as well as all the shopping and dining on Main Street Breck. This is the mountain condo you and your group have been dreaming of!
This comfortable 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom is perfect for up to four guests. The living area features a stone gas fireplace, and there’s a large flat-screen TV for relaxing after a long day on the slopes. Right off the living room is the balcony — perfect for enjoying the fall colors and crisp mountain air. Granite counter tops in the full kitchen provide plenty of space to whip up great mountain meals and après-ski snacks. There’s seating for four at the dining table and three more at the kitchen counter.
You’ll enjoy access to the shared hot tub and pool, as well as an onsite gym. Other amenities include a washer and dryer, shuttle service, complimentary Wi-Fi, and parking for one vehicle. Plus, all Summit Mountain Rentals properties are professionally cleaned and inspected before each arrival and are stocked with hotel-like toiletries and linens. Our helpful staff is also available 24/7 should you need anything.
LOCATION – Walk to town and ski to your door, you cannot beat this location in Breckenridge! Mountain Thunder Lodge sits off Park Ave. within walking distance to the Breckenridge Station Gondola and Main St (about 0.3 miles/three blocks). Just outside of the complex is the Skyway-Skiway Run that allows skiers to ski home at the end of the day. A complimentary resort shuttle is also available to take guests to the mountain or anywhere in town.
MOUNTAIN THUNDER RESORT AMENITIES – The elegant yet rustic grand lobby of Mountain Thunder Lodge features a beautifully decorated sitting area that with log accents, slate floors, plush furniture and a fireplace. It also features a fitness center, complimentary shuttle, conference/business space, common area outdoor pool & hot tub area with gas grills and a children’s play area.
ONE SKI HILL PLACE RESORT AMENITIES – Being a guest of Mountain Thunder Lodge also gives you access to One Ski Hill Place Resort located at the base of Peak 8. Amenities include two pools, indoor hot tub, outdoor hot tub, sauna, steam room, bowling alley, movie lounges, game room, fitness center, rejuvenation center, restaurants, ski school and a complimentary resort shuttle.

pleasantly surprised to be in this spot! The room was perfect for the two of us. The building with garage was in a great location; truly ski in, and a 7-8 minute walk, under a tunnel, to the gondola... and 5 minutes to town! never had to drive anywhere....laundry was not in the unit, it was across the hall ( but free, and detergent was provided ). Quick responses from management, who took the information but they didn't follow through. Also, when we booked this, we were quoted one price but an additional fee was added ( there was a host fee AND service fee, plus taxes..)- still a wonderful stay and we'd book again!

Can't express how this is a perfect place to stay. You're within a 4 minute walk to the Gondola to ski and with the 4 o'clock ski slope, you end the day with a ski-in right to the condo. Heated garage for your car is a nice touch for those arctic cold mornings. 7 min easy stroll to Main Street with shopping and restaurants! Condo had everything needed to make breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening. Beds were comfortable and communication w/ the office was always just a text away. We plan to stay here again on our next trip!

My husband and I came out to Colorado from MN for a long weekend getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed the condo, especially how close it was to downtown Breckenridge. We were Very happy with our stay at Summit Mountain. The location was great and the condo was very clean. If we ever come back to Breckinridge again We would not hesitate to stay here. Although it could be a little noisy being near the road and bus pickup. But we made do. Loved that we could walk to town to shop, eat or just browse knowing it was a couple blocks away. A suggestion to the owner or management. There are no baking sheets of any kind. Wanted to heat up pizza and there was no baking sheet to place it on. Also no scissors in the condo as well. The unit was well equipt. Spacious enough for two people. We were there at the beginning of June. There were very few other guests. The check-in process was easy though we had to go to a seperate location to check-in and out. The amenities were nice. Used the fitness center, the hot tub was not open. Very convenient location to town. The unit faced the road which was undergoing major reconstruction so it ws noisy. Also the buses idled in the parking lot across the street early and late which was noisy on the balcony. It was difficult to get the place cool enough even wth windows open. No a/c.

Really enjoyed our visit. Warm friendly welcome spelled out all the details. The unit was as described with good amenities in the building. The unit was clean and ready with the necessary utensils, etc for the two of us. Management of the unit answered all our questions. We'd recommend the unit and the building. Because of covid we did not eat in restaurants, but there were many places that had take out and we took advantage of the variety. Like the Chicken Joint for fried chicken!

Great place to stay. Would definitely choose this place again! The property was beautiful and the location was excellent. Close to everything (walking distance to everything). Could ski right to building! Personal locker for ski equipment, very handy. Check in process was cumbersome. You don’t check in at the building where you stay. This was our second rental of this unit. It's perfect for a couple. It's just across the street from the gondola and town. It has beautiful views of the mountain from the big deck. The pool and whirlpools are well kept. The unit itself is nicely furnished, including plenty of cookware. The bed is comfortable too. We are going to keep staying at this unit when we visit Breck. Summit Man Rental is very professional; very organized and easy to deal with.

The check-in was slightly confusing because you are to check-in at the Summit Rental office, not the Mountain Thunder office. The place is a great location and loved the room. It was clean, well kept and had everything we needed! The front desk of Mountain Thunder was great and issues we had with a coffee maker were quickly resolved by Summit Rental. I could not recommend this place enough and will be returning!

We loved our stay at Mountain Thunder Lodge. The Lodge was within walking distance to the Gondola; you can also take a tunnel straight there. The best part was the Ski in experience; we didn't have to worry about carrying all of our equipment back after a long day at the mountain. Best experience ever ! We will be back.
