Skiing Arapahoe Basin, also known as A-Basin, will give you an experience you won't be able to get at any other resort. They call it "The Legend" for a reason. It offers some of the highest skiable terrain in North America. In fact, half of the mountain is above tree line, offering wide-open bowl skiing and snowboarding all the way into early summer. It's also known for being one of the first ski areas to open in Colorado. A-Basin's base sits at an elevation of 10,780 feet and has a summit of 13,050 feet, a vertical gain of 2,270 feet and 960 acres of skiing and riding. A-Basin is a partner of Vail Resorts. So if you bought a pass to ski and Breckenridge or Keystone, you'll be able to ski at A-Basin as well.
