It’s just a 5-minute commute to downtown Frisco, and in the summer, the Lake Dillon bike path is right across the street. Throw in great views of the mountains and lake, your group will be thrilled with this condo!
This 2-bedroom + loft, 3-bathroom deluxe condo is the perfect mountain escape for families or groups of up to 8 people. The living room features vaulted ceilings, a gas fireplace, and a large flat-screen to keep you warm and entertained. The fully equipped kitchen has granite countertops and all the gear you’ll need to whip up great meals for your group. There’s room for six people at the dining table and two more at the breakfast bar.
You’ll love stepping out onto the balcony and taking in the amazing views of Lake Dillon and the mountains. And there’s plenty of seating on the balcony for your whole party to enjoy! Other amenities include community outdoor hot tubs and gas BBQ grills, complimentary Wi-Fi, an in-unit washer/dryer and parking for three vehicles. Plus, every Summit Mountain Rentals property comes stocked with plenty of linens, towels and hotel-like toiletries, and is professionally cleaned and inspected before each arrival. This unit is right off the highway, with easy access to Keystone, Breck and Copper. Great views of the mountains and reservoir from the unit. Having three full bathrooms was a game changer for us as we had three couples. There were two bedrooms on the main floor with two full bathrooms. There is a loft upstairs with a full bathroom. The place was clean, pretty and fully functional. We used the fireplace, coffee maker, stove, in suite washer and dryer and everything worked perfectly. Having the garage spot was great as we could just leave our skis locked right there. The management company was very responsive and friendly. We took advantage of the community hot tubs, and they worked well. Remember it is a three-floor walk-up. I would not recommend this unit for a person who has trouble climbing steps. It is not in downtown Frisco, which would require a few minute drive. There is a wonderful large balcony that can be accessed from both bedrooms and the great room. It overlooks the mountains and reservoir. Great place for aprs ski or just to relax. Leaving the complex, you can walk across Dillon Dam Road and have access to a nice trail or the path. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

We stayed at this rental in January 2023 to go snowmobiling and skiing in Vail and Cooper Mountain (though Copper Mountain is closer). Everything was great with the condo, and I would stay again. It is conveniently located to the interstate and Dillon/Frisco restaurants, etc. The hot tub and garaged parking were great amenities!

We stayed here for 5 nights this past August for the Copper Triangle bike ride. The condo was most excellent with great views of the lake and very close, right across the road from the bike trail. The condo was clean and well kept with all the things needed to make dinners most nights we were there. Picking up the keys and welcome packet was an easy process and when it came time to drop them off, easy too. I’d recommend this place for anyone looking for a mountain and lake stay. Just one word of caution, it is on the third floor. We’re in perty good shape, we did ride the Copper Triangle without too much trouble and for some reason those stairs going up to the third floor always winded us. Otherwise it’s all good!

My daughter and I met for the first time in over a year. It was just the two of us but the extra space was so appreciated. We each had our our bathroom and bedroom and even one to spare. The high ceilings made it feel open and spacious. The views and access to the deck were perfect to enjoy the weather and the tremendous views. Only note I would make is that the climb up the stairs took some getting used to.

We appreciated the location of the rental and the complex was nice. The unit and furniture itself could really use some updating. The carpet could use a good cleaning or replacing. We needed more blankets for the beds as it was very cold during our visit. The blinds in the master bedroom are the worst.

Summit Mountain Rentals offers, by far, the best customer experience and this rental was no exception. Easy check in, interactive tablet in the condo with great info, links, etc. Lake Forest Hillside 306F is a fantastic condo with a very accommodating layout for multiple guests. The highlight of this property is the view from the deck. Located at the top floor corner unit, the deck has incredible lake vistas and mountain views of 14er's (Gray's & Torreys), and the 10 mile range. Deck access is available from both bedrooms and the living room and is perfect for morning coffee. Also a great launching location for daily adventures (walking distance to Dillon beach/park). Highly recommend.

First and foremost this rental has one of the best views I have seen in my 9 years doing rentals in Summit County. The kitchen was very well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. There are twin tankless water heaters which meant you did not have to worry about running out of hot water with 6 adults returning after a fun day of skiing (or after the hot tubs!). Only suggestion I would make to the owners would be to pare down a it on the "objets d'art" on tables and around the rooms. We skiers have a lot of stuff needing place to be (smiley).

This Lake Forest condo was spacious with lots of light and fantastic views. It had room to spread out for the 6 of us. The kitchen was well equipped. We had some light bulb issues and maintenance came right over. Decor was cozy. I was sick for a few days but had the best views from my bed! So not so bad. A quick jaunt to the slopes.

Lake Forest Hillside condo has wonderful views of Lake Dillon and the surrounding mountains - which can be seen from both bedrooms, living room and when you step out onto the balcony- WOW! WOW!! Those views alone make this the perfect place to stay. The condo is exactly as described with plenty of sleeping space for a family of 6. The 2 main bedrooms are seperated by the living room and with the loft upstairs, it gives everyone private space along with 3 full bathrooms - that's a plus! There were plenty of throw blankets to snuggle under when the temps dropped at night, as well as box fans to use when it was warmer during the day. The Kitchen was well stocked -untensils, dishes, glasses and cookware. They provided dish soap and laundry detergent. You will need to bring your own basic kitchen supplies (salt, pepper, etc.) as none are supplied. Whole Foods Market, Natural Grocer, Safeway and Walmart are just minutes away. Keep in mind that this unit is on the third floor. The Bike path/ walking trail along the lake is just across from the entrance to the condo complex. The location (just off I-70) makes this a perfect base to explore the surrounding towns, with Frisco being the closest. There are a number of good restaurants in Frisco, we enjoyed Tavern West best- it was excellent for dinner and Silverheels Bar n Grill- great for lunch. The only issue we had was with the window in the loft bedroom, it could not be opened and the window covering needed to be replaced. The Summit Mountain Rentals management staff were quick to address the issues, also helping us get the fireplace up and running. They were very helpful and accommodating when we needed an extra parking pass for one of our guests. The WIFI worked well and there were plenty of cable channels to watch on TV,(every room had it's own TV). Though really the best viewing was right outside on the deck. We can't wait to rent this unit again next summer. Very nice condo.
