Maybe one with a hot tub to soak in after a long day of adventures. Tranquility House is the place. Everyone in your group will be thrilled … and you’ll be thrilled with the value!

This four-bedroom plus den, four-bathroom home in Blue River — just minutes from downtown Breckenridge — offers a quiet, affordable getaway for your family or group of up to 10. The living room offers lots of seating with a large couch and 6 power recliners. After a long day out on the town or hitting the slopes, everyone can relax by watching a movie on the large Smart TV in the den!

The living room opens to the fully equipped kitchen where seating is never a problem — there are 12 seats at the table and six more at the bar. The upper level, overlooking the living room, boasts four bedrooms. The king master suite features a king bed, gas fireplace and a private bathroom with a corner tub and stand-up shower. There’s also a queen master suite with a private bathroom, two more bedrooms with a queen bed and a full bed, and a full bathroom in the hall with a tub and shower. With two master suites, the home is ideal for two families to share!  

The three-car garage gives everyone a parking space out of the snow, and there’s a spacious mud room for putting on and storing outdoor gear. Outdoors, there’s a large deck spanning the width of the house, a gas fire pit and a large, fenced-in yard. Other amenities include a washer/dryer and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the house. And like every Summit Mountain Rentals property, the home comes stocked with plenty of linens, towels and hotel-like toiletries, and it’s professionally cleaned and inspected before each arrival. Our helpful staff is also available 24 hours a day to ensure you have everything you need to make your stay with us an unforgettable experience.

SPECIAL UNIT NOTES – PLEASE READ:

  • No Pets/Smoking.
  • A $500 refundable damage deposit will be charged to credit card at check in.
  • Renters must be a minimum of 25 years old.
  • A four-wheel drive vehicle is required during winter.
  • Parking: 3-car garage, 2 outdoor spaces – 5 total spaces.
  • No air conditioning. All units include at least one fan.
  • Short-term rental license #LR19-000026.

The house is in a great location, nice and clean the only suggestion is to improve the bath tubs and the living room furniture or at least a coffee table that changes your first impression, the kitchen is really equipped everything you need to cook. I really enjoyed the nice and clean hot tub, you have a great backyard I think you could do an improvement on the landscaping to make the house perfect. Thank you very much. I give you a 93% over all

We had a nice time. There were a couple issues that you need to know. The last night the smoke alarm kept beeping, seemed like the one in the master bedroom, or upper hall. There is also an issue with the pull out couch, it would not go back into the couch. It appears as though it was broken on one side. We did not break it. There was no lighter in an office, for use with the firepit, so we could not use that. Or directions for usage of other things, like the TV's and the music system. All in all though, it was very nice, and close to town, and quiet. Thank you.

This home was very comfortable for our family of 5 but it could have easily accommodated more. It is conveniently located just south of Breckenridge. The hot tub was especially soothing after a long day of skiing and we really appreciated the heated mats between the tub and house. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating.

Four Stars. Big master bedroom and bath. Two living areas with tv's. Great kitchen. Only negative was the tv programming. No ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, Fox News, Golf Channel or live ESPN channels. The deck was covered with pollen and the yards had not been mowed in a long time. Both were corrected immediately by the maintenance man.

The house was more than large enough to accommodate all 11 of my family members. There were plenty of sleeping options and gathering spaces. We appreciated the proximity to Breckenridge (10 minutes away) and hiking trails nearby (we went on the Spruce Creek Trail and saw a moose at the first set of little ponds). The kitchen and dining area were expansive - all of us fit at one table for meals! Having access to pull into the garage to use for loading and unloading was a big help. Many members of the family really enjoyed the hot tub and lounging on the porch. We also appreciated that we were able to have a package of backpacking equipment delivered to the office on Ski Hill that we could then pick up. The only downsides were that the yard was on the smaller side (the kids wanted to explore in nature more), only 1 window opened to the back half of the house, and the noise from the street below was louder than expected. Other than that, we loved our stay here and would consider renting this house again!

loved the cabin, the upstairs master bedroom sinks had water that tasted of brimstone and the whole bathroom and closet had a spooky vibe. but it did not detract from the over all experience

The layout of the house was great. We also love the location as it was close to downtown but still away from the crowds. The furnishings, bedding, carpet, etc., are dated but functional and clean. We found everything we needed in the well-stocked kitchen. We didn't have to contact the management company during our stay which is always a plus. There were great with recommendations in advance of our stay and during check-in.

We had a pleasant stay but we could not get either fireplace to work. The hot water heater could keep up for multiple people taking showers. Keep in mind when it says the house can hold up to 15 people this includes hydabeds. As one would know they are not comfortable to sleep on especially if you are staying multiple nights, wish they would keep egg crates or something to make them a little more comfortable in a closet. Overall our stay was pleasant though.

Great place to enjoy family and friends! The neighborhood is gorgeous among the pines, near the lake. Roasting marshmallows around the fire pit was a favorite. Close to trails where we saw moose, deer, fox and beavers! Will stay there again!!

Great folks to deal with, easy to locate initially and within a 5 min drive to Breckenridge. Ample kitchen to feed the army and a great room to fit us all. On top of that a beautiful neighborhood! We found the house exactly as described and would definitely return for another stay.

This was our second stay at Tranquility House near Goose Pasture Tarn south of Breckenridge. The location is excellent for us - outside of downtown so it's quiet and secluded yet only about 2 miles from shops, restaurants and the ski area. We often have our young grandchildren stay with us and this house is very child friendly. Not too many knick-knacks to worry about with the kids but plenty of room and games for them to keep entertained. The heated 3 car garage is a real blessing on those cold, windy days when we're packing up for a day of skiing, snowshoeing or hiking. The owners just added a new, huge dining room table which easily seats 12 comfortably. The house is very close to route 9 but you cannot hear traffic much at all. The kitchen could use a large pot for pasta type meals, a cheese grater, upgraded pots and pans and a variety of sauce pans. Overall, this may be the best house we've rented in Breck for our family's needs.

We were very pleased with our stay at Tranquility House. It was very spacious and everyone in the family could find there own space. Nice location too away from all of the crowds in Breckenridge but convenient for shopping and hiking. It had all of the amenities you could want, a nice deck and grill, good wifi etc.
