Inspector/Laundry Manager Position – Full Time

Job Description
Summit Mountain Rentals is a short term property management company in Breckenridge and Frisco. The company has grown dramatically over the past 5 years and needs a successful individual to help ensure our growth into the future. We are seeking a year round full time Inspector and Laundry Manager.

The candidate should have a track record of successfully supervising some type of operational work – housekeeping, laundry will be a plus – and managing staff and vendors. The candidate must be self-driven, hands on, willing to get their hands dirty and be able to work independently, within the parameters of corporate goals.

Essential Duties
  · Inspections
      o Perform unit inspections
      o Follow up on inspection problems
  · Manage Housekeeping Operations
      o Monitor arrival/departures and schedule cleans and inspections
      o Update daily Housekeeping Board
      o Manage housekeeping contractor teams
      o Manage seasonal deep cleans
      o Do deep cleans during off season
  · Manage Laundry Operations
      o Make sure laundry is running smoothly
      o Linen/towels are stocked and ready
      o Supervise maintenance of machines
  · Manage Amenity Allocation Supplies and Process
      o Determine how much amenities to purchase and stock
      o Allocate to individual cleaning contractors amenities needed
  · Review Monthly Charges
      o Review completed charge sheets from housekeeping staff
  · Manage Housekeeping Staff
      o Manage schedule for inspector and laundry staff
      o Create and manage work orders for housekeeping staff
  · Manage 3rd party Cleaning Contractors
      o Review cleaning invoices from contractors
      o Work with contractors to ensure the highest levels of performance

Required Experience, Skills and Abilities
  · Must be computer literate
      o Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Office suite of tools
      o Must be able to create and update Excel spreadsheets
  · Must have good written and verbal communication skills
      o Skills to effectively and professionally work with co-workers, vendors and staff
  · Self-starter, flexible, creative, cost-conscious with a positive “Can Do” attitude

Required Experience, Skills and Abilities
  · Must have cleaning experience
  · Must have a valid Colorado driver’s license
  · Must be clean and detail oriented
  · Be able to communicate clearly, verbal and written
