Operating since 1976, Breckenridge Stables is dedicated to offering safe horseback riding for the entire family. With over 100 horses to choose from, we're sure to have one for your ability.

On a Breckenridge Stables trail ride, you'll spend an hour and a half exploring the beautiful Breckenridge scenery between Peaks 9 and 10 on the Ten Mile range above Breckenridge. You will experience river crossings, beaver ponds and breathtaking panoramic views of the Continental Divide. With over 100 horses, we're able to match each rider to a horse based on the rider's ability and age.

Keystone Stables: When you are already in Keystone and just want to take your family over to the stables to see some horses or take a quick ride up into the mountains of Keystone Colorado, the Keystone Stables is a perfect source for Horseback Riding in Keystone. Summer Stables is open from early June through early September and offers one or two hour guided tours through Arapahoe National Forest. Riders must be at least 8 years old, but they do have pony rides for younger riders!

You can schedule horseback rides, watch horse grooming, enjoy a little bit of the wild west. While the Keystone Stables only operates for riding in the summer time you will be sure that the Keystone Stables horses and crew are hard at work year round, providing sleigh rides, horse drawn dinner rides and of course horseback rides. Reservations for horseback riding are required at the Keystone Stables and you can call 970-496-4Fun or 800-354-4386 to book these activities.

Rusty Spur Ranch: We are a small company of cowboys and cowgirls that got its start in 2001. We were motivated by the idea of delivering a higher quality, day time horse activity that was still affordable and held closely to the Western ideals of horse/rider interaction. We are still staffed by the same core of people who began this venture, along with a few new additions. Our staff, though small, excels at giving our guests the kind of personal, Western touch that so many outfits have forgotten. While we are always hoping to add new and exciting features to our list of activities, we are most concerned with maintaining a close, personal interaction with each and every guest that joins us here at the Rusty Spurr. We offer authentic cattle drives for all abilities on our 10,000 acre ranch as well as non-nose-to-tail trail rides where you are welcome to get off the trail wherever the terrain permits with your guide and enjoy the scenic mountain views, aspen groves and wildflower meadows. If you've ridden with us before we hope you come visit us again soon, and if you've never been here before we hope you'll give us the opportunity to (as so many of our guests have said) "spoil you" with a ride you won't soon forget.

Visit www.rustyspurr.com for more information.

Lake Dillon Water Taxi

Breckenridge and Frisco summer lodging and vacation rentalsAt 9017 feet above sea level, the Lake Dillon Water Taxi is the highest water taxi and charter company in the country. Established in 2006, they are proud to be the first water taxi in the history of Lake Dillon.

The views of Summit County Colorado from the lake are breathtaking. During your excursion, you will be able to capture some of the best panoramic photos of the Rocky Mountains while navigating one of the larger bodies of water in Colorado. At 3300 acres and with 24 miles of shoreline, Lake Dillon is the summertime gem of Summit County.

The Water Taxi operates 7 days a week. You may board in either Frisco or Dillon for a one-way or round-trip ride. If you purchase a round-trip you may return on a later boat after some shopping and lunch at one of the many shops and restaurants. True to the laid back attitude of our community, you may bring your dog or bike on board the boat.

In addition to the taxi service, they offer private charter services 7 days a week for groups who want the luxury of having a vessel for their own private use. Over the years, they have accommodated many family reunions and corporate outings. While they do not serve food and drink, you are welcome to bring your own. All private charter prices include a captain who will take care of the driving while your group relaxes and takes in the scenery.
