3 Perfect Autumn Days

Take in the crisp mountain air, let your hair down and prepare to enjoy
three perfect days in beautiful Summit County with your significant other.  Fall colors are starting to peak through the forest, making autumn the most
 colorful time of year. couples-fall.jpg

Day One:  Wake up to a beautiful blue sky view from your condo, enjoy a cup of coffee and gear up for a day of hiking.  Get an early start to McCullough Gulch, just south of Breckenridge.  Pack a sack lunch and enjoy the nature around you.  After a long day, freshen up and take advantage of the two-for-one martinis at the Blue River Bistro during happy hour, on Main Street Breckenridge.

Day Two:  Begin your day with a latte and delicious breakfast sandwich at Pika Bagel in downtown Frisco or the famous Daylight Donut in downtown Breckenridge.  In the afternoon, hike up those argyle socks and step out on the golf green.  Enjoy a Corona as you play the day away at the Breckenridge Golf Club
Later, have a cozy night and order in from Gourmet Cabby
Relax and soak those feet in an outdoor hot tub!

Day Three:  As you breakfast on a buttery, delicate croissant at the
Butterhorn Bakery and Cafe, you and your loved one decide to avoid the crowds
and take in a scenic drive to the historic mining town of Montezuma or
Boreas Pass south of Breckenridge to capture the golden fall tones.
You are not eager to leave this fine view just yet; s
top and dine at the
locals' favorite Food Hedz in Frisco.

Paw Talk with Hannah

img5721.jpgEver seen the show Northern Exposure
Well, before moving to Frisco, we lived in the Bay Area in California.  I fondly remember the show possessing a certain charm and character that made me feel right at home when watching.  That's why I convinced Mark and Mary to
move to Summit County!  We then adopted Buddha in Colorado. Although he loves the outdoors (when it's not snowing or raining), I think he would love the California high fashion and warmer temperatures.  They take him to warmer places when they travel, but I prefer to stay back in Hotel Frisco and keep an eye on things.

Mark and Mary longed for a change of pace where they could indulge in nature and receive some quality R & R.  Granted Northern Exposure takes place in Alaska, they receive an overwhelming feeling of being one with nature whilst being in Summit County.  Here we can truly stop and smell the wild flowers.  Summit County boasts beauty and tranquility with the majestic back drop of the Ten Mile Range and Lake Dillon.  We hope to see you here this fall, come visit us soon!
